Here we go!

Welcome to the Church of Social Justice blog. We’re at the beginning of our journey and the road ahead, while daunting in many respects, is exciting and full of promise. The geopolitical and environmental situation on this planet are in bad shape at the moment. We are witnessing the historical rise of authoritarianism in the USA and similar “strong men” have appeared in other previously democratic countries. Great Britain is poised to leave the EU, a move seen as disastrous by many reasonable folks especially those of us who value democratic cooperation. One of the primary goals of the COSJ is to bring folks of disparate religious beliefs together under one umbrella in the name of a peaceful world order. Authoritarianism and the many abuses it brings stand in direct opposition to the peaceful and cooperative aims of our little church. We shall not falter despite this political upheaval! Our goal is simple: to establish and maintain a safe and peaceful society FOR ALL by engaging in cooperative and strategic democratic alliances throughout the world. People of all faiths, or the lack thereof, understand that without democracy, religious liberty will perish. Join us if you value the freedom of religion and safety that only true democracy can bring.
